A GPCG (Glatt-Powder-Coater-Granulator) from Glatt
for processes that are uniform, reproducible and gentle on the product using
fluid bed techniques. Batch sizes from 5kg to
1.5t/batch
|
All-in-one
From demanding powder coating to simple drying. Whether granulation/
agglomeration, particle coating or pelletizing. Whether spraying from above (Top
Spray), from below (Bottom Spray) or from the side (Tangential Spray): simply
anything is possible with a GPCG. In this way, you are just as flexible as
your machine. |
Glatt single pipe nozzle
|
Unique technology
All GPCGs provide an optimum ratio of air volume flow to quantity of product
used.
The conical pressure relief zone and the resulting reduced flow speed allow
even very fine products to be processed.
At the centre of granulation is the legendary Glatt single pipe nozzle. This
combines outstanding spray behaviour with optimum media delivery and easy
cleaning.

Different bottom designs guarantee optimum inflow of the product.
The double-chamber filter system ensures that the process is uninterrupted
even when cleaning the filter. Glatt has been relying on vibrating material
filters for over 40 years with very good reason. No system works more
efficiently and more reliably. We offer different filter materials for different
products and processes. Easy to change and, of course, with FDA certificate of
conformity. (-> SC

Double-chamber vibrating filter
|
Simple handling
Both horizontal and vertical product flow can be realized with all sizes.
Contained feed systems using gravity or suction can be provided. The
container is emptied by rotating it in the moving carriage (up to certain batch
sizes). Dust-free tipping and feeding into the container on one lifting column.
Emptying can likewise be carried out from the side by means of suction or by
gravity or - as the fastest and most effective method of all - vertically with
the unique Glatt rotating bottom.

Different process inserts
Top Spray product container
for granulation, drying and powder coating. Large-area bottom for optimum
throughflow of air and thus the shortest possible process times. Different
bottom designs from the standard sieve bottom to the Glatt wedge wire bottom,
which is suitable for CIP. The right configuration for every product and every
process.

HS Wurster® insert
The patented Glatt HS Wurster® technology coats particles
<20µm and works with unmatched efficiency (-> Fluid Bed Coating).
With the standard design, feed and discharge are carried out manually or, if
required, automatically with the Total Containment design. Removable nozzles can
be used in the process as can an SC SuperClean® design for
the fully automatic cleaning of the insert. HS Wurster® inserts
can be used for batch sizes from 100g to 2.5t.
|
HS Wurster®
|
Rotor granulator
Glatt rotor systems are designed for the manufacture and coating of pellets
and crystals (->
Pelletizing by Layering). A homogeneously dense product of ca. 50µm to 5mm is built up due to the
high mechanical forces. RI rotor inserts can be used for batch sizes from 1kg to 300kg.

User-friendly control system
Glatt offers the customized EcoView and
MegaView control systems with simple,
logically designed operator guidances, clear process visualizations as well as
detailed and informative process documentation. Qualification and Validation of our control systems are,
of course, possible - right up to GAMP 4. All control systems are designed
in-house by Glatt based on hardware and software that has become established
throughout the world. Your advantages are long-term investment security,
superiour plant availability, and immediate and rapid support.
